SUSS Brand Challenge 2022: The Search for Sustainability in Businesses

After a long break since COVID-19, the SUSS Brand Challenge 2022 is finally back, physically! The competition aims to challenge participants with real life industry issues contributed by our industry partners. Working with exciting and promising brands, this year’s theme was sustainability and featured brands such as Benjamin Barker, Bon Chon Chicken and Scanteak as our industry partners.

Out of the 51 teams from five different polytechnics that registered for the competition, eight teams edged out the rest to enter the finals. On the final day of the challenge, close to 75 participants including mentors and staff from the respective Polytechnics attended. Parents of the participants showed up as well to show their support!

This year’s Brand Challenge was a notch above rest, with participants using props and coordinated outfits to present their ideas strategically and impress the judges and audiences. Both audience and participant engagements were off the charts, with laughter, cheers and celebration at the end of the event.

Michelle Yang, Marketing Director of Benjamin Barker, expressed, “I am astounded by the quality of their thinking and I think that is what gets me invigorated and excited about this upcoming generation.”
