Success At The VIII 2TG-RMLNLU International Mediation Competition

VIII 2TG-RMLNLU International Mediation Competition

SUSS Law students, Mr Sebastian Hoe, Ms Adele Neo, Ms Clarice Tan and Mr Poh Chee Eng shone at the VIII Edition of the 2 Temple Gardens-Dr Ram Manohar Lohiva National Law University (2TG-RMLNLU) International Mediation Competition where they went head on against representatives from 24 other universities.

This competition provides a platform for legal minds from all over the world to enhance their legal acumen, with the participation of two-member teams playing the role of a mediator and a negotiator. As one of the most prestigious mediation competitions in South Asia, it is the perfect platform for SUSS Law students to hone their mediation skills and gain valuable experience in mediation and negotiation techniques by observing their fellow competitors. They also gain valuable knowledge on utilising the art and science of mediation to build a safe environment for parties to discuss their concerns candidly.

Supported by SUSS Law lecturers, Associate Professor Alvin Cheng and Mr Melvin Loh, the team reached the finals and secured the runner-up mediator position!
