Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) and SUSS inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 25 July 2022 to bring in more opportunities to both universities’ students such as dual Master’s degree programmes, summer and winter school opportunities, student exchange programmes and Impact Startup Challenges.

This is the first time that JBNU is partnering a Singapore university. This collaboration not only represents two different cultures coming together, but also a mesh between a traditional and a non-traditional university.

“I’m honoured and happy to sign the MOU agreement with SUSS. Our delegates were amazed at the professionalism and practicality of SUSS. I hope that both JBNU and SUSS will develop remarkably through mutual exchange and cooperation in the future and become world-leading universities beyond Asia,” said Professor JaeBaek Lee, JBNU Vice President.

“The MOU initiates many exciting exchanges and collaboration possibilities between SUSS and JBNU. I am confident that the activities and programmes carved out by both universities in the upcoming months will be enriching for students of both universities,” shared Professor Robbie Goh, SUSS Provost.
