Overview

The logistics and supply chain management sector plays a significant role in Singapore's economy. The growth in this sector creates tremendous opportunities for logistics and supply chain professionals in Singapore, but requires them to acquire new knowledge, up-skill, or re-skill themselves.

The Graduate Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (GCLSCM) programme addresses this skills gap in the logistics and supply chain management industry, and aims to prepare students with relevant skill sets to seize these opportunities. Students will be equipped with various strategies and tools to improve the performance of the organisations' supply chain.

The programme will facilitate networking opportunities for students in the ASEAN region and beyond. The programme is suitable for professionals working in the logistics or supply chain industry or those wishing to switch careers to the industry. It is also targeted at providing upgrading opportunities for SUSS's alumni.

Career Prospects

Graduates from these programmes can seek employment in higher roles in the logistics and supply chain industry. They will be able to switch their existing role and can seek employment in the digital, analytical, or green supply chain domain. Job roles may include the following: supply chain analyst, supply chain manager, inventory manager, supply chain strategist, logistics planner, logistics manager etc.

Programme Structure

Each of the courses in the GCLSCM programme is 5 credit units (cu) and can be taken on a stand-alone basis. Upon successful completion of 15 cu of coursework, these courses can be stacked to a Graduate Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Compulsory Courses (15 cu)

This is a programme with evening (weekdays) and morning/afternoon (weekend) classes. The minimum programme duration is 6 months.

This programme is currently unable to take in international students, i.e., you must be a Singapore citizen, permanent resident or a resident in Singapore (e.g., Employment Pass holder) in order to apply for admission.
