Graduates' Guest Guide

You can access the ceremony live streaming links arranged according to the session that your loved one is being presented in.

  • Graduates must indicate the number of guests that will attending by 31 August 2022. Please check the email sent to graduates on 22 August 2022.
  • Guest Admission Cards will be given out to graduates when they collect their academic regalia at Serangoon Broadway.
  • Only Guests who have successfully registered for the Convocation will be admitted to the ceremony.
  • All guests will also need to comply with the safety management measures implemented by the University. Click here to find out more.
  • Graduates and guests are to arrive at least one hour before the Convocation and register during their allocated time slot.
  • Children who are 6 years and below will not be allowed into the Hall.
  • No intermingling between zones is allowed within the event area.
  • In line with the government’s announcement on 24 August 2022, mask wearing will be optional for Convocation 2022, an indoor event.

Only registered guests will be admitted into the Convocation.

Entry into Grand Hall

Upon entry to the campus, Graduates & guests are to proceed to Foyer B of The Grand Hall, Blk A, Level 4 for registration.

STEP 1: Present proof of completion of a full World Health Organisation's Emergency Use Listing (WHO EUL) vaccination regimen OR a valid negative result for ART. For graduates or guests who are not fully vaccinated, please refer here for more information.

STEP 2: Present the Guest Admission Card the following timings:

Upon registration, guest may proceed to the Grand Hall.

Note: Please be punctual as there will be strictly no admission of latecomers once the Convocation commences.

As the Convocation ceremony is a solemn event, guests are to remain seated throughout the ceremony.

Guests must not leave their seats as to avoid intermingling and obstruction to the movement of the graduates as they move up to the stage and back to their seats.

An official photographer has been engaged to take the photographs during the presentation on stage. A complimentary photograph* will be given to graduates when they return their Academic Regalia at Serangoon Broadway Studio.

*The complimentary stage photo will only be available for collection at Serangoon Broadway Studio from 12 October 2022 onwards.
Note: Photographs and videos taken during the event may be used for publicity purposes.

Parking charges at SUSS are as follows:

  • For Motor Car:
    Monday to Sunday (closed on public holidays) from 6.00am to 11.59pm: S$1.28 per hour (inclusive of GST), based on 30-minute block charging
  • For Motorcycle:
    Free parking

Please note that car parking spaces at SUSS will be very limited and it is not likely that you will be able to locate a parking space easily. We strongly advise you and your guests to take public transport when attending the Convocation.

For guests with accessibility challenges (e.g. wheelchair-bound or on crutches), please alight at Block A Atrium entrance or Basement 1 of Lift Lobby A1 where there are ramps, and then take the lift to level 4.

Guests in wheelchairs and their companions will be guided by the ushers to their designated seats in the Hall.
