Graduates' Guest Guide

You can access the ceremony live streaming links arranged according to the session that your loved one is being presented in.

  • Graduates must register their guests, and submit their guests' information for contact tracing purposes by 23 August 2021. Please check the email sent to graduates on 17 August 2021.
  • Only Guests who have successfully registered for the Convocation will be admitted to the ceremony.
  • All guests will also need to comply with the safety management measures implemented by the University. Click here to find out more.
  • Graduates and guests are to arrive at least one hour before the Convocation and register during their allocated time slot.
  • Graduates and guests are to check and know their assigned seating zone (the details will be emailed to graduates on the week of 27 September 2021). 
  • Children who are 6 years and below will not be allowed into the Hall.
  • No intermingling between zones is allowed within the event area.
  • Face mask must be worn at all times within the event area and ensure that at least a 1m safe distancing is observed between individuals.
  • After the ceremony, graduates and guests will be ushered to exit the event area by zones. Graduates and guests are to leave the campus after exiting the hall and no loitering is allowed.

Health and Travel Declaration

On the day of ceremony, Graduates are required to fill up the mandatory SUSS Health and Travel Declaration Form. Graduates are to submit the form for themselves and their guests.

Please complete the form while you are on the way to campus to ensure a smooth checking experience at the campus entrance points. After submitting the form, a notification email with campus entry status will be sent to the indicated email addresses.

DENIED ENTRY INTO CAMPUS

Only registered guests will be admitted into the Convocation.

All guests will also need to comply with the safety management measures implemented by the University. Click here to find out more.

Entry to Campus

At the entrance of the campus, guests are to adhere to the prevailing safe management measures:

  • Present digital or printed copy of the SUSS CONVOCATION ENTRY EMAIL*
  • Present email notification for the submission of SUSS Health and Travel Declaration Form**
  • Perform SafeEntry Check-in using TraceTogether App or Token

*Guests are to obtain the SUSS CONVOCATION ENTRY EMAIL from graduates (sent to the graduates on the week of 27 September 2021).
**You are strongly encouraged to fill up the SUSS Health & Travel Declaration form on your way to the Campus.

Entry into Grand Hall

Upon entry to the campus, Graduates & guests are to proceed to Foyer A or B of The Grand Hall, Blk A, Level 4 for registration.

For information on your assigned zone registration counter, please refer to SUSS CONVOCATION ENTRY EMAIL (that will be sent to you on the week of 27 September 2021).

Please note that you can only register at your assigned zone counter.

STEP 1: Present proof of completion of a full World Health Organisation's Emergency Use Listing (WHO EUL) vaccination regimen OR a valid negative result for COVID-19 Pre-Event Test from a MOH-approved COVID-19 test provider. STEP 2: Register your attendance with your NRIC/Passport/FIN Card at the following timings according to the Zone that you have been assigned:

Upon registration, guests will be given their seat number stickers which are to be pasted on their shirts/tops for identification.

Graduates and guests will be assigned to different seating zones and must be seated at their assigned seats before the Convocation commences.

Note: Please be punctual as there will be strictly no admission of latecomers once the Convocation commences.

As the Convocation ceremony is a solemn event, guests are to remain seated throughout the ceremony.

Guests must not leave their seats or zone as to avoid intermingling and obstruction to the movement of the graduates as they move up to the stage and back to their seats.

An official photographer has been engaged to take the photographs during the presentation on stage. A complimentary photograph* will be given to graduates when they return their Academic Regalia at Serangoon Broadway Studio.

*The complimentary stage photo will only be available for collection at Serangoon Broadway Studio from 19 October 2021 onwards.
Note: Photographs and videos taken during the event may be used for publicity purposes.

Parking charges at SUSS are as follows:

  • For Motor Car:
    Daily (including weekends and public holidays) from 6.00am to 11.59pm: S$1.28 per hour (inclusive of GST), based on 30-minute block charging
  • For Motorcycle:
    Free parking

Please note that car parking spaces at SUSS will be very limited and it is not likely that you will be able to locate a parking space easily. We strongly advise you and your guests to take public transport when attending the Convocation.

For guests with accessibility challenges (e.g. wheelchair-bound or on crutches), please alight at Block A Atrium entrance or Basement 1 of Lift Lobby A1 where there are ramps, and then take the lift to level 4.

Guests in wheelchairs and their companions will be guided by the ushers to their designated seats in the Hall.
